Bonfire and Fireworks 2023
This year’s Bonfire and Fireworks Night is on Sunday 5th November 2023.
Gates open at 6.00pm.
Adult £8
Child £4
Family £20 family of 5 (2A + 3C)
Buy your tickets online. Ticket sales go live Monday 16th October at 6pm.

A small number of tickets will be available on the gate.
There will be barbecue food, hot and cold drinks, light up toys and sweets for sale. Cash only onsite. No smoking, drugs, alcohol, sparklers or pets permitted onsite.
It’s always a popular event and will be great fun for the family. See you there!

Congratulations to Neil Sewell who has been recognised for 10 years service as a scout leader. Well done and thank you Neil!
Recent competition wins:
- Mohican Cub Pack won the pack model competition on 11th April 2022.
- Commanche Beaver Colony won the beaver junk model competition on 2nd April 2022.

Car Park and Tarmac Project
With a project running from 25th October to 4th November 2021, our car park has had a massive upgrade. It was supported and organised by Tarmac Limited with discount rate groundworks by G N Groundworks of Telford who were magnificent. The final finished surface was done by Premier Surfacing. Excellent teamwork all round. The project was finished on time and the final result looks great.

JOTA-JOTI 2021
JOTA-JOTI 2021, Jamboree-on-the-Air-Jamboree-on-the-Internet, the world’s largest digital and radio Scout event promoting friendship and global citizenship, took place on the weekend of 15th – 17th October, 2021. Take a look at the photos from Nelson Sea Scouts who participated in this event.

Hire of Halls or Grounds
Did you know that when we’re not busy with Scouting activities our two halls and grounds at the Mill Pool on Lode Lane can be available to hire? Contact us on Info@1stSolihull.org.uk with details of your preferred dates, time, duration, whether you want to use a hall or grounds or both, what kind of activities you’re planning and numbers of people attending. We’ll check our calendar and your request, we might ask for more information and if it’s all looking okay, we’ll let you know the prices. Please note that children’s parties are only allowed for our members.
